Everyone interested in facial rejuvenation is looking for a natural appearing rhytidectomy (face lift) or facial surgery. Forehead lifts are also commonly referred to as brow lifts. I find the term “forehead lift” a bit of a misnomer since the goal of any brow surgery is to raise the brows to an aesthetically pleasing position without making the forehead look bigger. I routinely use some of the latest techniques in minimally invasive brow lift surgery which have the benefit of not raising the hairline as some traditional methods could do.

Even though most forehead lifts I do are minimally invasive brow lifts (also called endoscopic brow lifts), this does not mean that everyone is an ideal candidate for one. Some patients are still better candidates for traditional coronal forehead lifts with a larger incision. During your evaluation with me I will recommend what I think is the best option for you.

Eyelid surgery is also known as a blepharoplasty. I commonly get requests from Tampa area patients stating that their friends and colleagues say they look angry, very serious, or tired. I routinely perform upper and lower eyelid surgery with other facial plastic surgery procedures like brow lifts and face lifts to help someone appear less angry or tired. After all your goal is to look how you feel inside.

Many times (not always) patients may be best served with a combined brow lift and blepharoplasty to get rid of that tired, serious, or angry look. The brow adds a considerable amount of skin hooding to the upper eyelids when it is postioned too low.
